Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took a meeting through video conferencing from Indore regarding preparations of the implementation of Youth Day, Makar Sankranti and Laadli Behna Yojana. On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat from Indore and Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana from Bhopal and other senior officials of the Secretariat were present. On this occasion, it was told that the amount will be transferred to the accounts of sisters under Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana on January 10. Various programs based on women empowerment will be organized in the entire state from 10 to 15 January. Besides, various programs will also be organized during Makar Sankranti festival. Various activities will also be organized on 12th January on the occasion of Youth Day. CM Dr. Yadav gave instructions to prepare a detailed action plan for these programs.
In the meeting, Dr. Yadav said that as per the intention of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, programs based on women empowerment should be organized from 10 to 15January. During this period, information should be given about the schemes and programs implemented to make women financially self-reliant. There should also be programs based on their employment. He said that on the occasion of Youth Day, special programs should be organized for the youth in the entire state. Discussions, essay-writing, talks and seminars should be organized regarding the cultural contributions of Swami Vivekananda ji. Swami Vivekananda’s ideas should be widely disseminated in the society through social organizations. The state level program to be organized on the occasion of National Youth Day on January 12was also discussed in the meeting.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Makar Sankranti festival has special significance in our Indian tradition. On this day the Sun moves towards Uttarayan. While on one hand this festival has religious importance, on the other hand it also has scientific importance. He said that programs should be organized promoting traditional sports on the festival of Makar Sankranti. Besides, there should also be programs to tell the youth about the scientific importance of Makar Sankranti. Scientists should also be invited to these programs. Include bhajan groups also. He also gave instructions to organize other native games including kite flying. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the use of china string in kite flying should be completely banned.
Strict action should be taken against illegal child protection homes
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that no illegal child protection home should be operated in the entire state. He gave instructions to take strict action if illegal child protection homes were found. Dr. Yadav directed the district administration officials to keep conducting continuous inspections for this.
