Ladli Behnas in the state to receive Rakhi gift on August 10th. – CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government is committed to empower women and prioritize them for employment opportunities. He highlighted that Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of love, affection, and brotherhood. On August 10th, a sum of Rs 1250 will be directly transferred to the accounts of all Ladli Behnas, along with an additional Rs 250 as a special Raksha Bandhan gift. Today, in Jabera, the Behnas filled my heart with joy by tying a grand Rakhi, offering the spirit of Raksha Bandhan even before the festival. This year, we will celebrate Raksha Bandhan throughout the month of Sawan, with festivals organized in every district to receive the love and blessings of the Ladli Behnas.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Ladli Behna Utsav programme at Jabera in Damoh district today. During the event, he announced the elevation of Jabera to a Municipal Council. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a high-level bridge worth Rs 4.5 crore on the Tendukheda-Jamunkheda-Ajitpur road under the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana in Damoh district with a single click. Additionally, he distributed benefits to beneficiaries of various schemes. As part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, a Saptaparni sapling was planted in the Jabera Mandi complex.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Ken-Betwa Link Project will transform the Bundelkhand region. The project will bring abundant of water to the entire area by connecting the Vyarama river in Damoh district, spreading joy throughout the region. He said that Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will each receive Rs 45,000 crores for the project. This ambitious initiative aims to significantly improve the lives of the people in Bundelkhand by ensuring water supply across the districts. Dr. Yadav highlighted that the irrigation scheme is expected to more than double the crop income for the region’s farmers, ushering in a new era of prosperity.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged farmers to hold onto their land, assuring them that the Bhoomi-Pujan for the project will take place within the next two months. He promised that this initiative will transform their futures and significantly improve their lives. Dr. Yadav expressed confidence that Bundelkhand will soon surpass Punjab and Haryana.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that an investors meeting will be held in Sagar in September. Efforts are on to make all the districts of the state resourceful, a network of industries will be set up in every district, in which women will also get employment.

CM Extends Warm Welcome to Ladli Behnas with a Shower of Flowers

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav warmly welcomed the Ladli Behnas at the event by showering them with flowers and presenting them with gifts. In a heartfelt gesture, the Behnas tied a grand Rakhi around the Chief Minister, expressing their gratitude and extending their best wishes.

Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel said that today despite adverse circumstances, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has come in their midst for which we express our heartfelt gratitude to him. He said that God is blessing us with heavy showers. Shri Patel said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is continuously working to empower all of you.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments, Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has come amidst us, and is participating in the Raksha Bandhan programme of Ladli Behnas and women of self-help groups. In support of the government’s efforts for women empowerment, a program has been organized for Ladli Behnas to tie rakhis. To honor them, the government is depositing Rs 1250 in their accounts. The Chief Minister is going to give a gift of Rs 250 to the Ladli Benas this Raksha Bandhan. We welcome and congratulate him on the land of the Jabera constituency.

Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairying (Independent Charge) Shri Lakhan Patel said that a dam should be built on the Vyarama river in Hata through the Ken Betwa Link Project which will solve the water crisis in Hata city and Damoh and the entire land will be irrigated.

MP Shri Rahul Singh Lodhi said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is proving to be a mascot for Madhya Pradesh. As soon as he came, he won all 29 Lok Sabha seats. He started the initiative to provide the best health facilities to the people of the state by starting the Prime Minister’s Ambulance Service.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Ayushman Card, and Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana. The Chief Minister performed the Kanya Pujan. Also, the girl students of CM Rise School, Damoh, who narrated the story of Bal Sakha Sudama, were awarded. Former Minister Shri Jayant Kumar Malaiya, MLA Smt. Umadevi Khatik, Chairman of Backward Classes Commission Dr. Ramakrishna Kusmaria, District Panchayat President Smt. Ranjita Gaurav Patel along with public representatives, officers, and a large number of Ladli Behnas were present in the program.
