Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in -charge of Bilaspur district Arun Saw inaugurated the divisional Saras fair at Mungeli Naka Maidan in Bilaspur. Inaugurating the fair, he said that this Saras fair, which was imposed to strengthen the rural economy, is a medium to provide markets to local products and to empower women as well as rural communities. Self -help groups are becoming self -sufficient today, becoming the economic support of their family. Didis have come from all the districts of the division to demonstrate their art. Other women will also get inspiration from here and they will also step towards self -sufficiency. At the fair, women from 55 self -help groups of Bilaspur division have decorated exhibition for the sale of their products in 52 stalls. This fair will run till March 12.
Deputy Chief Minister Saw inspected all the stalls at the fair. After discussing with the women who reached their products, they boosted their morale. MLAs Sarvadharamlal Kaushik, Dharamjit Singh, Dilip Lahariya, Sushant Shukla, Mayor Mrs. Pooja Vidhani, District Panchayat President Rajesh Suryavanshi, Collector Avnish Sharan, SP Rajnesh Singh, DFO Satyadev Sharma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar and District Panchayat CEO Sandeep Aggarwal were also with him during this time.
Addressing the Saras fair with the chief guest’s Asandi, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that several schemes are being run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for empowerment of women. Many schemes like Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Lakhpati Didi are being run for the betterment of women. Women have become strong today due to these schemes. She is making her invaluable contribution in the development of family and society. Today, the groups of the group have become a millionaire in every village. Here at the Saras fair, she has come from Bijouri to Gulal and all her products. His confidence is seen.
Saw said that our society will not become strong until women become strong and self -sufficient. Prime Minister Narendra Modi intends to become a millionaire sister, become self -sufficient, develop and contribute to creating a prosperous India.
