Gwalior
There was a heavy thunderstorm in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. About nine and a quarter bighas of government land of Shri Ramjanaki Mandir Trust situated in Taraganj Kota Lashkar in the middle of Gwalior was freed from encroachment. A joint team of district administration, municipal corporation and police has taken this action. The boundary wall and other encroachments built on this land worth Rs 100 crore were demolished with bulldozers. After taking possession of the land, preparations were going on to sell it by plotting, which was destroyed by the administration by running a bulldozer.
On November 18, Collector Ruchika Chauhan had inspected the trust land. When a boundary wall was found on the Mafi Auqaf land related to this temple, he registered a case against the builder of the boundary wall and gave instructions to remove the encroachment. Under the leadership of SDM Lashkar Narendra Babu Yadav, the land of Shri Ramjanaki Temple Trust was made encroachment free. He told that Manoharlal Bhalla had built a boundary wall on this land. He was preparing to sell the plot. By taking prompt action, the district administration has not only freed the valuable government land from encroachment, but has also saved many innocent people from getting trapped in plot fraud.
On the report of Regional Revenue Inspector Pradeep Mahakali and Patwari Iqbal Khan, a case was registered in the court of Naib Tehsildar Dr. Ramashankar Singh under Section 248 of Madhya Pradesh Land Code. In this matter, action has been taken to remove encroachment by passing a formal order. In this, land worth Rs 100 has been freed from encroachment.
