After the death of Ratan Tata, everyone is remembering and praising him and his contribution to the historical legacy of Tata Group. Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy mentioned an incident while talking to India Today. He told that once his wife Sudha Murthy was waiting for a taxi in the dark. Then JRD Tata advised him, “Young man, in future do not make your wife wait in the dark.” Narayana Murthy said the incident shows that deep compassion and respect for the individual reflects Tata’s values. In 1999, Narayan Murthy introduced his daughter to Ratan Tata. Recalling that incident, Narayan Murthy said that the one-hour meeting lasted for 3 hours. During this he explained the values of leadership. “That meeting taught leadership lessons to my daughter as well as me and Sudha,” Murthy said.
