Police busy in mobile

Except the common man, now the policemen are also falling prey to mobile addiction. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has given instructions to the State Police Department regarding this. The High Court has expressed serious concern over the excessive use of policemen’s mobile and social media while on duty.<\/p>\n

The court said that if policemen are busy in mobile or social media at the time of duty, then it is not only indiscipline, but also has a direct impact on security and vigilance. The High Court directed the State Police Department to formulate a clear policy on this. Especially during important works like guard duty, court duty and VIP security, private mobile use should be fully controlled.<\/p>\n

Court suggested police officers<\/strong><\/p>\n

The court also suggested that special workshops should be organized at Police Training Centers, so that the soldiers can be made aware of the dangers of mobile use during duty. Also, provision should be made in the guideline that the personal use of mobile should be banned during duty except emergency conditions. Recently, the department was also said to be upset by the policemen making reel and being active on social media.<\/p>\n

What did Bhopal Police Commissioner say?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here, Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra said on the orders of the High Court that social media today is making a profound impact on both society and crime. He said that policemen are repeatedly directed not to use social media during duty and do not put any material that tarnishes the image of the police. The commissioner clarified that immediate action is taken in such cases.<\/p>\n

Policemen got used to making reels<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra also believed that some policemen get used to making mobiles and reels, due to which they are physically present, they are mentally deviated from duty.
