Like many countries, Japan was also suffering from extremely hot weather this year. So far this month, Tokyo has been average temperature of 33 \u00b0 C (91.4 \u00b0 F), which is leading towards creating the highest record in September.<\/p>\n<p>According to the metropolitan fire department, more than 3,300 people were rushed to the hospital in the Japanese capital last month due to heat stroke. The local organizing committee said in a statement that the World Championship was scheduled to be held in mid -September, when the temperature in Tokyo was expected to be lower than the summer, but this year the temperature remains at the mid -summer level. He cited health and safety risk behind his decision.<\/p>\n<p>The statement said that the marathon competition at the delayed Olympic Games in 2021 was held in Sapporo, about 800 km (500 mi) north to avoid the heat of Tokyo, although the temperature in both cities remained almost the same. Till Thursday, the maximum temperature in Tokyo is expected to be 31-34 degrees Celsius in the three-day weekend by Thursday, while 35 km of walking and marathon events were originally to start at 8 am.<\/p>\n<p>Humidity was recorded at 75 percent on Saturday. 185 water stops will be installed on the route to feed athletes for marathon, which is much higher than the number prescribed for the Tokyo Games.
