As soon as the festive season arrives, the market increases and during this time new employment opportunities also increase. Meanwhile, e-commerce company Meesho has made a big announcement that it is going to bring more than 12 lakh seasonal jobs to its seller and logistics network. This number is about 40 percent more than the previous year.<\/p>\n

The special thing is that more than 70 percent of these jobs will be for the people of small cities of the country i.e. Tier-3 and Tier-4 areas. The sellers of Misho have hired about 5.5 lakh seasonal employees in this festive season. These employees are also being given tanning for works like pruning, construction and packaging so that the increasing demand of customers can be met.<\/p>\n

Small cities will get big benefit<\/h2>\n

According to a report by Business Standards, Saurabh Pandey, an official of Meesho, said that this time preparations will be very high in the number of employment opportunities from Tier-3 and Tier-4 cities. They believe that e-commerce should make it easy and accessible to every class and region. So Meesho is strengthening businessmen, manufacturers and logistics partners from small cities. Meesho has partnered with many third party logistics companies.<\/p>\n

Employment competition in e-commerce companies<\/h2>\n

Like Meesho, other big companies are also preparing for the festive season. Flipkart has made more than 2.2 lakh seasonal jobs in warehousing, logistics and delivery, giving opportunities for people with disabilities and special groups. Amazon India has also announced more than 1,50,000 seasonal jobs this year.<\/p>\n

Along with this, Amazon has also made a new investment of Rs 2,000 crore in its infrastructure and has opened five new Phulphalic centers in cities like Delhi NCR, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Kochi and Rajpura.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
