A SpiceJet spokesman said that the passenger attacked SpiceJet’s employees with a kick-punch, which broke the spinal cord of our employees and suffered serious injuries in their jaws.<\/p>\nHe said that an employee of SpiceJet fell unconscious to the ground. Despite being unconscious, the passenger kept kicking the employee. To help the unconscious employee, a person began to bleed from his nose and mouth due to a strong kicking on the jaw of a person. The injured employees were taken to the hospital. The spokesperson said that the passenger was carrying two cabin baggage, which was 16 kg, which was more than double the permissible limit of 7 kg. He said that when the passenger was asked to pay the fee applicable to additional goods, he refused and forced to forcefully enter the aerobridge without completing the boarding process and violated the aviation safety protocol. He was taken back to the gate by a security guard. The official said that the passenger’s behavior at the gate became even more aggressive and he beat up four members of the SpiceJet Ground Staff.<\/p>\nPassenger put in no-flight list<\/h3>\nThe official said that an FIR has been lodged in the local police and the airline has started the process of putting the passenger in the no-fly list as per the civil aviation rules, so that the passenger will no longer be able to travel by flight. The official said that SpiceJet has written a letter to the Ministry of Civil Aviation informing about the deadly attack on its employees.
