According to the intention of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, a big step has been taken to promote the training and development of emerging cricket players of the state. It has been decided to allot Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association for establishment of 7.96 acres of land in Sector-3, Gram Parasada of Nawa Raipur Atal Nagar in a cabinet meeting held at the Ministry Mahanadi Bhavan here today under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that under the government disruption rules, there is no provision of allotment of land directly to non-profit institutions, but in this particular case, the state government has taken this decision by relaxing the rules, so that the Cricket Academy can be established in the interest of the players.<\/p>\n

Prospects in the field of cricket in the state<\/h3>\n

He said that there is immense possibilities in the field of cricket in the state of Chhattisgarh. Many players of the state have shown their talent at the national level. Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium is present in Nawa Raipur, but the need of the academy for international level facilities and training was being felt.<\/p>\n

Talented youth will get a chance<\/h3>\n

With this decision, the talented youth of the state will get excellent opportunities to move forward in cricket and the state will get special identity at the national and international level. This step of the Government of Chhattisgarh will not only open new doors of opportunity for the young cricketers of the state, but will also help Chhattisgarh to get a strong identity in the field of sports.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
