The pressure of vehicles in the city is constantly increasing, so a situation of jam is created many times at the intersections. Many intersections where there is no traffic signal, vehicles continue to be gutthagatha. Currently, traffic signals have been installed at 39 intersections of the city, which will be increased to 100. Collector Ashish Singh, in the meeting of the Road Safety Committee, the tender should be invited soon for the establishment of new signals. At the same time, instructions were given to remove the old and repeated spoiled signals and install new technical signals. It was decided to determine the timing of signals on the basis of traffic pressure at each intersection of the city, held at the Collectorate on Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The timing of all signals will now be decided in a scientific manner. Along with this, alternative power supply arrangements like solar energy or battery backup will also be made so that the signal can always work. Several important decisions related to road safety, traffic management, e-challan’s effectiveness and strict adherence to traffic rules were taken in the meeting. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma, Additional Police Commissioner Manoj Srivastava, Smart City CEO Divyank Singh, Indore Development Authority CEO RP Ahirwar, Traffic Police, Transport Department and senior officials of other affiliated departments were present.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

29 vehicles with registration canceled will be seized<\/h3>\n

Registration of 29 vehicles who have broken traffic rules more than ten times have been canceled by the Transport Department. Vehicles whose registrations have been canceled will now be seized. The traffic and transport departments will seize vehicles. Currently, registration of vehicles with fixed violations has been canceled more than 10 times. Registration of vehicles violating more than five times in the coming time will be canceled.<\/p>\n

E-challan recovery system will be better<\/h3>\n

The collector instructed to make the arrangement of e-challan recovery more effective. In this, the recovery of e-challan will be recovered at the upcoming intersection. In the process, this arrangement will be applicable as a pilot project at two to three intersections, later it will be applied to other intersections of the city.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Action will be taken on illegal bus stands<\/h3>\n

It was decided in the meeting that action will be taken by campaigning on illegally operated bus stands. No bus will be allowed to seduce the roadside passengers illegally and such vehicles will be transferred to an alternative designated site.<\/p>\n

Construction agencies will not make any speed breakers without prior permission, in this case, action will be taken on the concerned engineer. <\/em><\/p>\n

The active presence of traffic jawans will be ensured at every intersection. <\/em><\/p>\n

Left turn improvement work and identified ‘Black Spots’ will be improved immediately. <\/em><\/p>\n
