The water crisis in Britain is becoming serious.\n<\/p>\n

Drought has been officially announced in the West and East Midlands areas of Britain. Due to record heat and very low rainfall in the country, water crisis is becoming serious. The government has indicated that if the situation does not improve soon, then more strict steps can be taken regarding the supply of water.<\/p>\n

Minister of State for Water and Flood Affairs Emma Hardy has said that we are a responsible government and are taking necessary steps to deal with the situation with full seriously. He said that the government is monitoring the situation at every level and the public is also appealing for cooperation.<\/p>\n

Hozpipe ban: what is and where it was implemented<\/h3>\n

Under the Hodpipe ban ie ‘Temper Use Bain’ (TUB), people cannot do water like watering their gardens, cleaning vehicles or filling swimming pools. Although the announcement of drought does not apply the hosperse ban in itself, water companies in the areas related to it can stop temporary use according to their needs. Yorkshire water has already implemented the ban. Apart from this, this ban has also been imposed in areas such as Kent, Sussex, Swindon, Glostersire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire.<\/p>\n

The environment agency says that the water flow was the lowest after 1976 in some rivers of Midlands. At the same time, the country received 20% less rainfall than average in June and it was also the hottest June. The level of reservoirs in England is continuously falling. Right now it is 75.6% on an average, while in Yorkshire it has reached just 53.8%.
