According to BJP sources, the election of the party’s national president is likely to be delayed. Before the National President’s election, the party top leadership is focusing on the election of state presidents in about 5 states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Delhi and Haryana. According to the information received, the names of these state presidents will be decided before the selection of the national president.<\/p>\n

So far, BJP has appointed about 27 state presidents. In big states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the command of the organization has been handed over to new faces, but the state president’s decision in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana and Delhi is still pending. At present, the biggest question in BJP is whether the BJP will get a new national president before the monsoon session of Parliament. Both BJP and RSS are equal in elections<\/h3>\n

According to party sources, both BJP and RSS have equal role in the election of the national president. The election of the president is not just the internal matter of the BJP, but in this decision, the consent of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is equally important. Election is not possible till the new president is fully agreed with the Sangh. At present, the organization is constantly in action mode but no one has agreed to any name regarding the post of National President.<\/p>\n

Where is it stuck?<\/h3>\n

The final seal in the process of president selection in the BJP is often from the Sangh. The Speaker should be a face that can take everyone along and be committed to the principles of the Sangh. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return home from the foreign tour on July 10, there has been a stir at the organization level in Delhi, but sources say that the RSS cannot be announced by the National President without opinion.<\/p>\n
