The new ROB (railway overbridge) prepared at a cost of about Rs 40 crore in Subhash Nagar area of \u200b\u200bBhopal has now become a threat to people’s lives. Accidents are increasing due to a huge shortage of traffic signals on this bridge, built under the supervision of 12 engineers of the Public Works Department (Loniv).<\/p>\n

Like Dr. Ambedkar Bridge and Aishbagh Bridge, there have been laid on the standard of security here. Whereas it becomes the responsibility of the traffic police and the officials of Lonivi not to open any bridge to the public without traffic signal.<\/p>\n

Officers did not wake up even after two big accidents<\/h3>\n

There have been two serious road accidents on this bridge last week, but despite this, the responsible agencies are still blind. There is no traffic signal anywhere on the bridge. Vehicles coming from Prabhat intersection turn the wrong side due to the divider, causing an accident. Traffic coming from MP Nagar is also falling victim to this negligence.<\/p>\n

The danger bell became the reverse hung signal, the incomplete divider<\/h3>\n

The traffic signals on the road leading from MP Nagar to BHPAL NEWS are not only closed but are hanging inverted. Due to this, the vehicles coming from all three directions are coming from the Bridge, coming from Jinsi and climbing from MP city.<\/p>\n

There is also an incomplete divider on the bridge, where the vehicles have collided earlier. At present, a warning board has been installed there but the permanent solution has not happened yet.<\/p>\n

Speed \u200b\u200bbreaker and warning signals need strict needs<\/h3>\n

There is no speed breaker to control the speed of vehicles climbing the bridge from Prabhat Chowk. There is also no indication of curved turns, due to which the drivers coming at a high speed are in danger.<\/p>\n

Essential traffic signs that are missing<\/h3>\n

Subhash Nagar ROB does not have the following traffic signals (Bhopal News) which can prove to be helpful in preventing accidents:<\/p>\n

  • Stop, give way, no entry<\/li>\n
  • Speed \u200b\u200blimit, lane discipline<\/li>\n
  • Pedestrian crossing, school, narrow bridge<\/li>\n
  • Helmet and seat belt compulsory<\/li>\n
  • Prohibition of mobile phone prohibits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you want to stop accidents, take care<\/h3>\n

    There will be a possibility of accidents here until this bridge is indicated by proper traffic signals, speed breakers and warnings.
