He said that he would take a tent in the park in front of his residence in Gwalior for a month and take a night&#8217;s rest in the fan. Minister Shri Tomar will use e-bike in Gwalior city and use solar energy in bike charging. This resolution of Minister Shri Tomar is a symbolic message that even a little change in habits can ensure a safe future for generations to come. He has appealed to the citizens under this campaign to cooperate in pollution control by adopting environmentally friendly habits in their daily lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pollution: A serious problem<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Minister Shri Tomar said that the effect of pollution is deep on every aspect of our life &#8211; health, environment and society. Air pollution causes breathing diseases, dust and smoke allergies, water pollution, diarrhea, cholera. Noise pollution causes problems such as mental stress and lack of sleep. Pollution causes damage to the ozone layer and increases global warming. As a result, the mountains of snow melts and the water level of the sea is increasing. Pollution reduces the quality of standard of living, diseases grow and social imbalance arises. The lack of clean air, clean water and safe environment gives rise to stress and insecurity in the society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>432 units of electricity consumption in 1 month from an AC and 402 kg. More co\u2082 emissions than<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The normal house consumes about 14.4 units of electricity per day when a 1.5 ton of AC is 8 hours per day. In this way, this consumption in a month will be more than 432 units and it will be 402 kg. There will be carbon dioxide (co\u2082) emissions. There will be more than 402 kg of Co\u2082 emissions in the month. 402 kg for not using AC for one month. (Co\u2082) emissions can be prevented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emissions of 3600 liters of petrol and more than 9360 kg of Co\u2082 in a year by car<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A 150 km of car daily will consume 10 liters of petrol from 15 km\/liter mileage. In this way the monthly consumption will be 300 liters and the annual consumption will be 3600 liters. On average, about 2.6 kg co\u2082 originates from 1 liter of petrol. In this way, 780 kg co\u2082 will be monthly and 9360 kg Co\u2082 emissions annual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Consumption of 112 liters of petrol in 1 month by bike and 292 kg of emissions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If normal citizens ride 150 km bike per day, then 40 km\/liter mileage will require 3.75 liters of petrol per day. In this way, the monthly consumption of petrol will be 112 liters and Co\u2082 emissions will be more than 292 kg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There will be a big change with public cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If 1 lakh out of the 1.5 million citizens of Gwalior city resolve to stop using AC one hour per day, then about 167 tonnes of emissions and 5022 tonnes of CO\u2082 can be prevented per day.
