This decision was taken after a legal request to this effect.<\/p>\nEarlier this week, many Pakistani YouTube channels were also banned in India for ‘inflammatory and communally sensitively sensitive and misleading statements and misinformation’ against ‘India, its army and security agencies’.<\/p>\n
Former Pakistani fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar, Basit Ali and Shahid Afridi’s YouTube accounts were closed in India. However, Shahid Afridi’s Instagram account is still available. Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan’s Instagram account were also blocked in India. Along with this, the Instagram account of javelin throwing player Arshad Nadeem was also blocked.<\/p>\n
