The Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) has directed Delhi officials not to give fuel to these vehicles, whose registration time has been completed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, CAQM has issued another important order for pollution control. The Commission has issued an order to impose strict ban on the entry of all transport and commercial freight vehicles below BS-6 diesel standard in Delhi from November 1. Apart from this, CAQM has also passed a strict instruction in relation to old vehicles in the national capital.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Entry ban of diesel goods vehicles below BS-6<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As per the order issued by CAQM, the entry of all transport and commercial freight vehicles below the BS-6 diesel standard will be banned from November 1. This rule will be applicable to all transport and commercial freight vehicles registered outside Delhi.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Overseas vehicles will not get fuel<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>All fuel stations in Delhi will need to install automatic number plate identification (ANPR) cameras by June 30. These cameras will identify 10 years (diesel) or 15 years (petrol) old vehicles. From July 1, such vehicles will not be given fuel.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Order for 5 districts of NCR also<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The directive issued by CAQM states that this order should be effective from November 1 in five high population density districts like Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar and Sonipat located near Delhi. In addition, it is mandatory to complete the work of installation of ANPR cameras at all fuel stations by 31 October.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Examination for the rest of the districts<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>CAQM has set a time till 31 March 2026 to install cameras to other districts of NCR. From April 1, 2026, a ban on providing oversees vehicles will be applicable. The order mentions that these cameras will be connected to the vehicle database and identify old vehicles or vehicles with no legitimate pollution certificate.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Action instructions under vehicle scraping<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Commission has directed that petrol pumps should be stopped from the fixed dates from the fuel in such vehicles. Along with this, authorities should take quick legal action under vehicle scraping facility (RVSF) rules.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Command will be monitored through control centers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The order directed that traffic monitoring systems and integrated command control centers should be used to identify old and overseas vehicles on the roads and take necessary action against them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Diesel more than 10 years old from July 1 in Delhi and fuel will not be available to petrol vehicles more than 15 years old.
