Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that the government is committed to the supply of advanced and quality health services in every region of the state. He said that tele-medicine service is a powerful medium for the supply of expert services in remote rural areas. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla inaugurated the Tele-Medicine Seva at Shyam Shah Medical College Rewa. With this service, doctors of primary and community health centers of Rewa and straight districts will get counseling of senior experts.<\/p>\nUnder this service, now Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Rewa Medicine, Pediatrics (Pediatrics) and Senior Specialist Physicians of Gynecology (Gyne), will give necessary advice to doctors working in remote areas through phones or other media. This will immediately benefit patients who require specialist advice. Now citizens of rural areas will need to come to the district headquarters for expert services only under special circumstances.<\/p>\n
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that this service will not only reduce the need for patients’ travel, but will also save time, money and resources. Also, this will facilitate the doctors working at the primary level to take quick and accurate decisions with the help of experts. This will improve maternal-infant health, initial identity of serious diseases and quality of treatment.<\/p>\n
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the effective use of tele -adisin service will be helpful in putting the vision of “strong and healthy Madhya Pradesh” on the ground. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla visited the arrangements of the tele-medicine room and gave instructions for duly operating. He said that he would review the quality of services being provided next week.
