Most of them are residents of Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information, Naxalites reached Hemachandrapuram Police Headquarters of Kothagudem and surrendered to Multi Zone-1 IG Chandrashekhar Reddy. Those surrenders include 66 men and 20 women. All these Maoists have been involved in serious incidents like IED blasts, firing, murder and recovery from contractors for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>IG Chandrashekhar Reddy said that all of them have surrendered under &#8216;Operation Cheyutha&#8217; run by the Telangana government. The government has also provided assistance of 25 thousand rupees immediately under the rehabilitation scheme to the Naxalites surrendering.<\/p>\n<p>It is being told that this surrender has happened at a time when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is reviewing anti -Naxal activities in Bastar. This development is considered a major success for the security forces, making the expectation of peace restoration in the region even stronger.
