Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava Bhia and IMC Commissioner Shivam Verma Ji said that due to the awareness, strictness and regular monitoring of the taxpayers, it was possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did 1000 Crore Milestone achieve in IMC Revenue?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IMC took several steps to reach 1000 Crore Milestone in IMC Revenue. Property tax and water tax were focused on property tax to increase Indore Tax Collection. The water tax collection increased from 29 crores to 125 crores last year. IMC launched a campaign from December to collect the remaining tax from 34 government departments, and shifted 108 colonies from Lower Tax Slab to Higher Slab. Strictness was also shown, such as a property sealing a property in Bhicholi masculine due to the remaining tax of Rs 12.35 lakh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indore tax collection&#8217;s success and increased tax presser on middle class<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This success of Indore Tax Collection has strengthened the financial health of IMC, and will be used in the city&#8217;s infrastructure development, such as making Bilawali Lake a water sports hub.
