Explain that this applies to accounts being updated by 31 March, 2025. In such a situation, the account can also be closed if KYC is not updated. The bank said that customers can go to the nearest PNB branch for assistance or see the official website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is KYC important?<\/strong><br \/>Explain that KYC is a mandatory process that helps banks to identify its customers. This can prevent fraudulent activities like money laundering and financial scams. According to RBI guidelines, banks should timely update KYC details to maintain account protection and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who needs to update KYC?<\/strong><br \/>Explain that this requirement of KYC updates applies only to customers whose accounts are for renewal till March 31, 2025. The affected customers should check their SMS, email or official PNB notifications to confirm whether they need to update their details. <\/p>\n<p><strong>How to update KYC in Punjab National Bank?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PNB offers customers many convenient ways to update their KYC details-<br \/>&#8211; Go to any PNB branch. Submit the required document personally.<br \/>&#8211; Use PNB One or Internet Banking Services (IBS). For eligible customers, KYC updates can be made online.<br \/>&#8211; Send through registered email or post.
