Bilaspur<\/strong><\/p>\nWhile canceling the medical PG admission process in Chhattisgarh, the High Court has given instructions to conduct a fresh counseling. All the affected candidates will benefit from the High Court’s decision.<\/p>\n
Dr. Yashwant Rao and Dr. P. Rajasekhar filed a petition in the High Court for inclusion of ineligible candidates in the serving category. The petitioners said that according to the rules, it is mandatory for the candidate to complete the service of at least three years for eligibility under the serving category. But during counseling it was found that many ineligible candidates have been included in the serving category. Even after the complaint in this regard, there is a petition filed for no action.<\/p>\n
During the hearing, on behalf of the state government, the Advocate General had admitted before the court that the complaint seems to be prima facie correct. The court directed the state government to submit an affidavit in the entire case and provide a copy to the petitioners, so that they can file a proper response.<\/p>\n
While hearing the petition, the division bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Kumar Sinha and Justice Ravindra Kumar Aggarwal found that the private candidate was allotted a seat after the cut -off date, which is a violation of the rules. The court had banned the street round counseling with immediate effect, with it it clarified that this order would be applicable not only individually, but to all the candidates with the same position.
