Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that his armed forces in Ukraine are protecting ‘national interests’. He pledged to strengthen the country’s army in the changing world system. According to the report of the country’s leading daily ‘The Moscow Times’, he said, “To guarantee Russia’s safety and sovereignty, we will continue to improve the fighter capabilities of the army and the Navy.”<\/p>\n
