The official said the train is specially designed to operate efficiently under the harsh winter conditions of Jammu and Kashmir on the Katra-Srinagar rail route. It provides advanced climate-resistant technologies, which include heating systems, which will prevent water and bio-toilet tanks from freezing. Additionally, he said that the air-break system has been adapted for smooth operation even in sub-zero temperature.<\/p>\n
The official said the Vande Bharat Express also includes embedded heating elements in the Windshord that automatically defrosts the lookout glass of the driver, which ensures clear visibility in highly winter conditions.
