Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (Medical Education -1) has directed the National Medical Commission (NMC) that Super Specialization Course (MCH) in Surgical Oncology at Medical College Raipur Approval of 03 seats should be granted for. With this, this important course can be started from this academic session.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cancer treatment will get a new dimension in the state<\/strong><br \/>It is noteworthy that MD already in the cancer department of the medical college. 6 recognized seats of (radiotherapy) are already being conducted. After the approval of the super specialization course in surgical oncology subject, now cancer patients of the state will get better medical facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raipur Medical College became the first government medical institute of Central India, where special syllabus will be conducted<\/strong><br \/>The college&#8217;s founder Dr. Vivek Chaudhary and Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Professor of Surgical Association, said that Raipur Medical College is the first government medical institute in Central India, where this special course is being started. NMC of College Sale Chairman Dr. Arvind Neral said that last year an application was made for this syllabus, but due to some shortcomings NMC. L.O.P. (Letter of permission) was not issued. The college administration removed these deficiencies and appealed for reconsideration twice.
