According to a Bloomberg report, this ambitious project of Reliance Industries will be built in Jamnagar, Gujarat. With this, Reliance is going to hit an entry in AI sector. According to the report, Ambani is buying semicondia from NVIDIA, the world&#8217;s leading company in AI technology. The Adani Group has already jumped into this sector. Adani Enterprises has created a joint venture between the US company Edgeconnex. It has been named Adaniyx, which is planning to create a network of hypersscale data centers in India.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, during the October Nvidia AI Summit, Reliance and NVIDIA announced to work together to create AI infrastructure in India. Nvidia then said that it would supply its Blackwell AI processor for a gigawat data center being built by Reliance. Huang then said in a conversation with Ambani that India should make its own AI. He said that India should not export data to import intelligence. India should not export flour to import bread.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>What Ambani said<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the intelligence capacity in India, Ambani said, &#8216;We can really use intelligence to bring prosperity for all people and bring equality in the world. Apart from the US and China, India is the best digital connectivity infrastructure in India. In September last year, Reliance Industries and Nvidia announced a partnership to develop AI supercomputers in India and create large language language models on different languages \u200b\u200bof the country. Later Nvidia also had a similar partnership with the Tata Group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AI in India<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Government of India has also promised an investment of more than Rs 10,000 crore for the development of startups, AI projects and LLM. However, there are many challenges in them. India&#8217;s chipmaking industry is currently in the initial stage. The installation of semiconductor construction facilities (fabs) requires a lot of capital and it takes a long time to realize. Expert employees are required to run these fabs. India is currently engaged in developing this process.
