The purpose of implementing GRAP-3 in Delhi NCR is to prevent the situation worsened by pollution from getting out of control. In such a situation, BS 3 and BS 4 petrol vehicles have been banned in Delhi NCR.<\/p>\n<p>Due to implementation of GRP-3 in Delhi-NCR, there will be a complete ban on BS-4 diesel vehicles coming to the capital. CAQM has ordered all concerned agencies in Delhi NCR to implement all these restrictions and if they are not followed, immediate action should be taken.<\/p>\n<h3>There is a ban on BS-3 and BS-4 vehicles<\/h3>\n<p>Among private vehicle owners, those who currently drive BS-III petrol cars or BS-IV diesel cars are banned within the city limits. Delhi Traffic Police will strictly enforce the GRAP-3 guidelines, which will be applicable to all such vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>This restriction will be imposed in all the areas of Delhi-NCR region like Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar. Those found violating these norms will have to pay a fine. However, if you have a CNG vehicle or an electric vehicle, there will be no restrictions during GRAP phase three.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the restrictions imposed under GRAP-3 were removed due to improvement in the air quality of Delhi-NCR. After this, this decision was taken again after the air quality index increased.<\/p>\n<h3>What is GRAP-3?<\/h3>\n<p>GRAP-3 is a standard indicating the level of air pollution in Delhi NCR, which is called Graded Response Action Plan. It was prepared in view of the worsening air pollution situation.
