Similarly, other weather stations across the valley reported above normal day temperatures, which were one degree Celsius to four degrees Celsius higher than the average recorded the previous day.<br \/>Night temperatures continued to fall in the Kashmir Valley and Jammu and Kashmir capital Srinagar recorded a low of minus 4.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday, 2.5 degrees Celsius below normal. Besides, tourist spot Gulmarg recorded minus 9.6 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam minus 10.4 degrees Celsius and Sonamarg minus 9.4 degrees Celsius as the coldest places in the Kashmir Valley on Thursday. The minimum temperature in the ski resort of Gulmarg was recorded at minus 9.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday compared to minus 9.0 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, which is 1.8 degrees Celsius below normal.<br \/>Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 10.4 degrees Celsius, while the previous night it was minus 8.2 degrees Celsius, which was 4.2 degrees Celsius below normal. The minimum temperature in picturesque Sonamarg in central Kashmir&#8217;s Ganderbal district was recorded at minus 9.4 degrees Celsius late on Wednesday night, an increase of one degree on Thursday.<br \/>The minimum temperature in Kashmir&#8217;s border district Kupwara was recorded at minus 4.6 degrees Celsius as against minus 2.1 degrees Celsius. The picnic spot at Kokernag in south Kashmir also recorded a minimum temperature of minus 5.6 degrees Celsius, compared to minus 1.9 degrees Celsius the previous night, and Qazigund recorded a minimum temperature of minus 6.2 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
