Mumbai,<\/strong><\/p>\n Filmmaker Priya Atlee and Atlee have announced the acquisition of a Bengaluru franchise in the World Pickleball League (WPBL). The team will be called the Bengaluru Jawans. Co-founded by former Indian tennis players Gaurav Natekar and Aarti Ponnappa Natekar, the World Pickleball League will begin on January 24 and will feature 48 players from India and around the world playing for six franchises. The Bengaluru Jawans squad features a formidable line-up of players, including Indian pickleball sensation Vrushali Thackeray, popularly known as Hammer Thackeray for her explosive playing style. She is joined by Jack Foster, Katerina Stewart, Trang Hugh McClain, Marcelo Jardim, Alejandra Bober\u00eda, Felix Grunert, Mauro Garc\u00eda will complete the line-up.<\/p>\n
