Union Home Minister Amit Shah said during the launch of the book ‘J&K and Ladakh Through the Ages’ on Thursday that the name of Kashmir could be linked to Kashyap. He told that the foundation of Indian culture was laid in Kashmir, and Sufi, Buddhist and rock monasteries developed very well here.<\/p>\n

Thanking Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah said that he has given government approval to Kashmiri, Dogri, Balti and Jhanskari languages, so that the small languages \u200b\u200bof Kashmir can survive. He said that Prime Minister Modi has special attention towards the culture and languages \u200b\u200bof Kashmir.<\/p>\n

The Home Minister also talked about Articles 370 and 35A, which were aimed at dividing the country and promoting separatism in Kashmir. He said that Modi government has opened the way for development in Kashmir by removing these sections. He said that terrorism had flourished due to these sections, but after their abolition, peace has increased in Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Amit Shah said that the history of Kashmir will now be certified through this book. He said that India’s history and culture is spread across the country, and from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, India is one. He also said that Kashmir was, is and will remain a part of India, and historical evidence of this is given in this book.<\/p>\n

He further said that the temples found in Kashmir show the unbreakable relationship between India and Kashmir. He said that the history of India can never be written from Lutyens’ Delhi, it should be written understanding the reality and on the basis of evidence.<\/p>\n

Amit Shah finally said that India is the only country whose boundaries are decided on the basis of cultural tradition, and no country in the world can define us from a geopolitical perspective.
