These guidelines, which will come into effect from January 24, are aimed at providing clear, standardized and timely information to road users. Through these changes, efforts are being made to reduce accidents and make traffic more organized.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speed \u200b\u200blimit and warning indicators<\/strong><br \/>Under the new system, signs will be placed before potentially dangerous spots such as rumble strips, to give drivers time to adjust their speed. Information about speed limit will be given through sign boards every five kilometers. These boards are designed to be easy for drivers to read and understand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Standardization and uniformity<\/strong><br \/>The Ministry of Road Transport has standardized the size and color of letters and numbers used on sign boards. This step will increase uniformity of indicators and make them easier to understand. Also, arrangements have been made to clearly display the speed limits of different vehicles on the same board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No parking and pedestrian safety<\/strong><br \/>\u201cNo parking\u201d boards will be installed every five kilometers to reduce accidents and traffic jams. Apart from this, arrangements have been made to give advance information about the crossing, giving priority to the safety of pedestrians.<\/p>\n<p><strong>overall security efforts<\/strong><br \/>To prepare these guidelines, a committee of experts was formed, which studied international experiences and road safety data in depth.
