He has refused to treat patients coming from Bangladesh. JN Ray Hospital in Maniktala, Kolkata has decided to stop the treatment of Bangladeshi patients. This decision has been taken amid ongoing protests in Bangladesh over alleged atrocities on Hindu minorities and insult to the Indian flag.<\/p>\n<p>Subhranshu Bhakta, a hospital official, told news agency PTI on Friday, \u201cWe have issued a notice that from today onwards we will not admit any Bangladeshi patient for treatment indefinitely. \u201cThis decision has been taken primarily because of the disrespectful behavior shown by him towards India.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The hospital administration has appealed to other health institutions of Kolkata to take similar steps. He called it a symbolic protest against the alleged ill-treatment of minority Hindus in Bangladesh and anti-India sentiments. The devotee said, \u201cWe saw the tricolor being insulted and it is very sad. India played an important role in the independence of Bangladesh, but despite this, anti-India sentiments are being seen there. We have taken this step and hope that other hospitals will also support us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This decision of the hospital can become a matter of debate in view of the sensitive relations between India and Bangladesh.
