If you spend a few hours in this air, there is a risk of falling ill. This air can cause serious harm to respiratory and heart patients.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The figures given by Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board show a worrying picture of air quality. The air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 305 in the Habitat complex located near Arera Colony, Bhopal. From the point of view of pollution, this air has been kept in the category of very bad. The most serious situation in the state is in Gwalior, where the AQI has crossed the level of 400. AQI 408 was recorded in Gwalior on Friday morning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>The air was relatively clean two days ago<\/h3>\n<p>The data of the Pollution Control Board till October 30 was showing normal air quality in all the cities of the state. That day the AQI of Bhopal&#8217;s Habitat Complex was 196. Its level was 182 in DD Nagar, Gwalior. It was measured at 131 in Jabalpur. The quality of this air was considered moderately polluted. Whereas in Indore it was measured at 279, which is considered bad.<\/p>\n<p>But in one night of Diwali, the entire picture of air quality changed. From 9 am on October 31 to 9 am on November 1, so much poisonous smoke from firecrackers mixed in the air of most of the cities of the state that the air quality became extremely bad. Habitat Complex in Bhopal recorded AQI of 305, where PM 2.5 levels are in very poor condition. The AQI in the Collectorate complex of Bhopal itself was 222, which falls in the poor category of air.<\/p>\n<p>AQI reached 408 in DD Nagar area of \u200b\u200bGwalior. This falls in the serious category of pollution. Even in Maharajbada area of \u200b\u200bGwalior, AQI is beyond 320. The AQI in Indore was up to 399, while 335 was measured in Jabalpur and 321 in Ujjain.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors say that breathing such polluted air can cause damage to the lungs. The risk of attack increases in asthma patients and people suffering from other respiratory diseases.<\/p>\n<h3>this kind of poison in the air<\/h3>\n<p>Experts say that the smoke that rises after firecrackers contains many types of dangerous chemicals. It also contains gases like carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, ozone, strychnine and chlorine along with dust and gunpowder particles like PM 2.5, which are not even visible to the naked eye. Due to these, infection of the respiratory tract and lungs can occur. There may be swelling in it. The nervous system may be damaged.
