The controversy arising out of Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer Shailbala Martin’s statement raising questions on loudspeakers in temples is not stopping. In response to a statement posted by Martin on his official<\/p>\n

Shailbala did not like his reaction and she retaliated by saying – ‘You cannot expel me Mahamandaleshwar ji.’ Shailbala, Additional Secretary in Madhya Pradesh General Administration Department, made this counterattack by posting on X handle on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Mahamandaleshwar had said this<\/h3>\n

Let us tell you that Mahamandaleshwar Anilanand had said while talking to the media in Guna on Friday – ‘Leaving aside the matter of tableaux, loudspeakers are played in temples and mosques for a limited time. If Shailbala Martin has any problem with this then she should leave the country.<\/p>\n

In protest against this, Shailbala has also written – ‘Our Constitution has given me as much rights on this country as any other citizen. Our rights cannot be diminished by someone’s words or threats. Despite the Constitution, this country does not belong to any one community. It belongs to all of us. The blood and sweat of my ancestors have been mixed in building this country, my ancestors have also fought for this country wearing the uniform of the Indian Army\u2026my ancestors are buried in the soil of this country. I also have the right to two yards of land to be buried in the sacred soil of this country. No mother’s son can snatch this right from me.<\/p>\n
