A major portion of their annual gross merchandise value (GMV) comes during this period. 60 percent GMV of the entire sales comes in the first week itself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>According to Money Control report, e-commerce companies and retailers are expecting a GMP (GMV) of Rs 1 lakh crore in festive season sales this year. Out of that, Rs 26,500 crore comes in the first three days. Datum Intelligence said in its report, \u201cDuring this period, the share of sales of mobiles, electronics as well as essential household items has been 79 percent.\u201d Demand has also increased due to offers available on credit cards.
