Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh met the family of Amjad, who died in the riot in Maksi. He accused BJP of causing controversy due to membership drive. Digvijay demanded the removal of the SP and the police station in-charge and also appealed for a judicial inquiry into the matter.<\/h2>\n

Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh reached Maksi on Friday and met the relatives of Amjad, who died in the riots on Wednesday night, and consoled them. The relative informed him about the matter. Digvijay Singh said that the disturbance case was related to BJP’s membership campaign. Said- Become a member of BJP, otherwise get shot.<\/p>\n

Here, markets and educational institutions did not open for the second day as well. Digvijay Singh reached the rest house after walking a distance of about one kilometer from Amjad’s house. Here, in a discussion with the media, he made serious allegations against BJP leaders. Said- Become a member of BJP, otherwise get shot.
