The inhuman face of some policemen has come to light in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. A sub-inspector has been suspended after a video of a man being tied to a window in a police station surfaced on social media. A police officer gave this information on Saturday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the viral video, a tea seller can be seen tied to the window grill at the Multai police station with a stick tied between his neck and hands. Superintendent of Police (SP) Nischal Jharia said that taking cognizance of the video, the accused sub-inspector Sunil Sareyam has been suspended after the victim’s complaint.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

SP Nischal Jharia said that an inquiry has been ordered regarding the incident. Further disciplinary action will be taken. According to the police, the victim Ajay Farkade complained to the Superintendent of Police on Friday after the video surfaced on social media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Farkade said that he runs a tea and snacks shop at the Multai bus stand. The police took him into custody on the night of September 18. The policemen tied him to the window grill and beat him on suspicion of selling drugs.
