Billionaire and one of the world’s biggest donors, Bill Gates, repeatedly warns people about issues such as the threat posed by climate change and cyber attacks. However, now he has revealed that the two crises that worry him the most are war and pandemic. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said that the current global unrest could soon turn into a major war. After this, he said, “We may still avoid this happening, but most likely there will be another pandemic in the next 25 years.” For Bill Gates, the main question during future pandemics will be whether the world is better prepared than before for a threat like Covid-19.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bill Gates reflected on the US response to CNBC, saying, \u201cThe country that the world expected to lead and be a model has not lived up to those expectations.\u201d In his 2022 book \u201cHow to Prevent the Next Pandemic,\u201d Gates also criticized individual governments for their lack of preparedness to fight the pandemic in 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Promote vaccine research- Gates<\/h3>\n

Gates, who was the world’s richest person, has also given some suggestions for countries around the world to deal with the epidemic. These include increasing investment in disease surveillance and vaccine research. Speaking about Covid-19, Gates commented, “Although some lessons have been learned from the coronavirus epidemic, sadly it is much less than expected. We are still not fully considering what we did well and where we fell short. Hopefully this will improve in the next five years.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

AI will create new opportunities- Bill Gates<\/h3>\n

Earlier, the Microsoft co-founder said that artificial intelligence (AI) will be transformative for people in the next five years. He said there is no need to fear new technology as it will create new opportunities.
