The court has termed these murders as an act of extreme cruelty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In his judgment pronounced on Tuesday, 10th Additional Sessions and District Court Judge of the local court, Avinash Tripathi, said the case falls in the \u201crarest of rare\u201d category.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The court found the accused Umend Kewat guilty of murdering four members of his family in a case registered in January this year. The court said in its verdict, &#8220;The culprit should be hanged by putting a rope around his neck until he dies.&#8221; The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on Kewat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>After the completion of hearing in the case, the court had reserved the verdict on July 29. On Tuesday, the court pronounced its verdict. According to the prosecution, Kewat had strangled his wife Sukrita (32), two daughters Khushi (5), Lisa (3) and son Pawan (18 months) to death at their home in Hirri village under Masturi police station area of \u200b\u200bBilaspur district on January 1.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Kewat suspected that his wife was having an illicit relationship with someone else.
