Former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, was disrupted by a reported gunfire incident ahead of the 2024 US presidential elections, CBS News reported.<\/p>\n
One attendee died from a gunshot wound sustained during the shooting at former US President Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, CNN reported, citing Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The shooter was also killed by the Secret Service, CNN reported, citing a Secret Service source.<\/p>\n
After the incident, Trump was immediately rushed off stage by US Secret Service agents on Saturday. The former President was taken away in a motorcade.

\n \n<\/p>\nFollowing the incident, Secret Service Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi stated that protective measures have been implemented and the incident is currently under active investigation.
\n \n<\/p>\nGuglielmi confirmed that Trump is safe and more information will be released as it becomes available.
\n \n<\/p>\n“An incident occurred the evening of July 13 at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. The Secret Service has implemented protective measures and the former President is safe. This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available,” the Secret Service spokesman wrote in a post on X.
