The Chief Minister expressed displeasure by naming Bastar, Kondagaon and Janjgir-Champa collectors over less registration in paddy procurement. The meeting started ahead of schedule, giving a strong message of the Chief Minister’s result-oriented work-discipline. Paddy purchase: Collector will be directly responsible

The Chief Minister said that preparations should be completed for the paddy procurement going on from November 15, the Collector will be responsible for any negligence. The Chief Minister clarified that if any kind of irregularity is found in the purchase of paddy, the Collector will be directly responsible. Integrated command and control center should be used to increase vigilance on procurement. Special vigilance should be taken in the interstate border districts, so that illegal movement of paddy from outside can be stopped. 100 percent registration of farmers belonging to special backward tribes should be done through special camps.

Focus on health and nutrition

The Chief Minister stressed that the target of making the gross enrollment ratio 100 percent and dropouts zero should be achieved at all costs. Teaching materials should be visible in classrooms, not on shelves. Appreciated the Bijapur model for teaching in Gondi language and advised other districts to adopt local language based innovations. Instructed to complete the registration of all students by creating Aadhaar-based ‘Apar ID’ by 31st December, which will bring transparency in distribution of uniform and student scholarship. “Mukhyamantri Shiksha Kwality Abhiyan” will be run in the state for grading and social audit of schools.
