Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai presented appointment letters to 233 candidates selected for the post of Laboratory Technician under the Higher Education Department in the auditorium of Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University located in the capital Raipur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the future of the youth of the state has been secured due to transparent and reliable recruitment processes. He said that in the last 20 months, more than 10 thousand government jobs have been provided in various departments.
Chief Minister Sai said that the youth of the state are being given appointments in Police Department, Electricity Department, Cooperative Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Tribal Development Department and many other departments. He said that in the coming time, 700 assistant professors will be recruited in the Higher Education Department and 5000 teachers will be recruited in the School Education Department.
The Chief Minister further said that today’s occasion is historic and a matter of great joy – for the first time such a large number of appointment letters are being provided simultaneously. This will definitely prove to be a milestone in building a developed Chhattisgarh. Congratulating and best wishes to all the newly appointed laboratory technicians, he called upon them to discharge their duties with 100 percent dedication and honesty.
Chief Minister Sai said that the state government has adopted a new industrial policy, through which employment opportunities are being created on a large scale. He said that under this new industrial policy, investment proposals worth about ₹ 7 lakh crore have been received so far, and the work of setting up industrial units under many of these proposals has also started. The people of the state will directly and indirectly benefit greatly from these industries.
While addressing the program, Higher Education Minister Tankram Verma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, there have been remarkable changes in every area of Chhattisgarh in the last 20 months. The recruitment process of every department is being completed with transparency and fairness. Congratulating the newly selected laboratory technicians, Higher Education Minister Shri Verma said that all of you will definitely play an important role in taking your colleges to new heights and will contribute in building a developed Chhattisgarh. He also praised the officials of the Higher Education Department and said that completing the entire counseling process transparently and impartially in three phases without any dispute in a period of just three months is a highly commendable achievement.
On this occasion, Technical Education and Skill Development Minister Khushwant Saheb, Vice Chancellor of Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University Dr. Sachchidanand Shukla, Secretary of Higher Education Department Dr. S. A large number of departmental officers and newly appointed laboratory technicians including Bharathidasan were present.
