Raipur: Jashpur gets Rs 61 crore from CSR fund for the first time: Hospital, archery center and school buildings will be constructed.
Eight school buildings will be constructed with Rs 6 crore 19 lakhs
Jashpur district is reaching new heights of development in two years

For the first time, an amount of Rs 61 crore from CSR fund has been allocated to Jashpur district for development works. This amount is being used to develop health facilities, education and sports infrastructure in the district. About two years ago, when Lal Vishnudev Sai of Bagiya of Jashpur took over as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, the people of the district got new hope of freedom from backwardness. During his first visit to the district as Chief Minister, CM Vishnudev Sai had also promised the people of the district that a historic roadmap for the development of the district would be prepared. The Chief Minister is taking rapid steps to fulfill this promise. Modern hospital is being built with Rs 35 crores
A hospital with a capacity of 100 beds is being constructed at the district headquarters Jashpur at a cost of Rs 35 crore. Under construction. The responsibility of running Jagdev Ram Oraon Memorial Hospital has been given to Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. The construction work of this hospital building is going on rapidly in the premises of Kalyan Ashram Hospital on Raigarh Road. Out of the approved amount, a provision of Rs 17 crore has been made. A target has been set to complete the construction work of this building by 2026. Similarly, an amount of Rs 18 crore will be used to collect necessary medical equipment and physical resources in this modern hospital. Facilities like CTscan, MRI, ICU, ICCU, dialysis, emergency medicine will be provided to the patients in this hospital. The recruitment process for doctors, nursing and administrative staff for this hospital is also going on. With the operationalization of the hospital, the people of the district will be freed from running to distant cities like Ambikapur, Ranchi, Jharsuguda, Raipur for treatment.
Archery center will be ready with Rs 20 crores
Rs 20.53 crore has been sanctioned from CSR fund for the construction of archery center in the district. The district administration has earmarked land in Sanna for the construction of this archery center with the CSR funds of NTPC. In this residential archery centre, international level trainers along with modern resources will be provided to the players. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s aim is to give concrete shape to the dream of late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev by improving the archery skills of the Pahari Korvas and making them eligible for national and international level competitions. Presently Eklavya Academy is being run with the help of Mineral Trust Fund. In this academy, along with archery, training in Taekwondo and swimming is being given. With the opening of the Archery Center in Sanna, the players of the district will get a big facility equipped with modern resources, which will give the sports talents an opportunity to shine at the national and international level.
Eight school buildings will be constructed
Rs 6 crore 19 lakh has been approved for the construction of 8 school buildings in the district from the CSR fund of CSPTCL. In this, new school buildings will be constructed in Pandaripani, Garighat, Kandaibahar in Farsabahar block, Bansbahar in Kansabel block, Ginabahar, Lodhama in Kunkuri block, Tatkela in Bagicha block and Duldula. With the construction of these school buildings, students of the district will be able to get quality education with better facilities.
