In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, the morale of criminals has become so high that now they are not shying away from firing even on trivial matters. Today on Tuesday afternoon, there was chaos in the Abhinandan Hotel located near the bus stand, when a customer, in order to take revenge for the delay in serving food, fired four rounds one after the other at the hotel operator. During the incident, the customers present in the hotel were seen running outside to save their lives. It was fortunate that no one was injured, but an atmosphere of panic and stampede was created on the spot. However, the entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop.

There was a delay in serving food

According to the information received, three days before the incident, the accused youth had a dispute with the hotel waiter regarding delay in serving food. At that time the accused had abused and assaulted the waiter. Today on Tuesday afternoon the accused youth again reached the hotel. This time he had a pistol in his hand. As soon as he saw hotel operator Ashwini Kumar, he fired four rounds one after the other. As soon as the accused pointed the pistol, the shop owner sat down otherwise a major incident would have happened.

The incident was captured in CCTV

The entire firing incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the hotel. It is clearly visible in the footage that as soon as the young man enters the hotel, he goes to the cash counter and starts shooting, due to which the customers and employees present there run away to save their lives. It is being told that after the firing the accused fled from the spot.

As soon as information about the incident was received, bus stand outpost in-charge Jagannath Awasthi reached the spot with the police force and started investigation. Police have seized CCTV footage and intensified the search to identify and arrest the accused. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections of attempt to murder, intimidation and Arms Act.

The accused had assaulted the staff earlier also

On receiving information about the incident, MLA Abhilash Pandey reached the spot. Condemning the incident, he said that the courage of criminals is increasing day by day in Jabalpur and the police administration is proving unsuccessful in maintaining law and order. Shop operator Ashwini Kumar told that the accused had earlier also assaulted the staff, complaint about which was given to the police. While outpost in-charge Jagannath Awasthi said that the accused has been identified and he will be arrested soon. This incident has once again raised the question that when will hooliganism be controlled in Jabalpur, the capital of culture.
