Also, these drugs are generally not recommended for children under five years of age. This step has been taken for the purpose of protecting infants from potential side effects and ensuring safety of their health.

According to experts, in most cases, common diseases like cough and cold in children are cured on their own and it is not necessary to give medicines for this. Therefore, the general public will also be made aware of not giving medicines to children without the advice of the doctor.
Drug supply system is under strict supervision
According to information received from Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation (CGMSC), two companies against which action has been taken in other states has no government supply in the state. These companies are also not registered in the database of CGMSC.

Inspection of construction units and private dispensaries intensified
A letter has been issued to all the assistants of the state and issued to the drug inspectors to inspect all the drug sales institutes immediately, so that there is no possibility of violation of the advisory.
