Before the Bihar assembly elections, the Election Commission held a press conference in Patna on Sunday. Today was the second day of the Election Commission’s visit to Bihar. Many changes will be seen in the election

What is the new initiative of ECI?

- There will be a system of depositing phone outside the polling booth.

Terror ending on 22 November
Actually, the term of Bihar Legislative Assembly ends on 22 November. Before this, the election in Bihar will end. As ECI said. At the moment, the election dates have not been officially announced. But the dates will be announced the next few days.
ECI released new guidelines
Last month, the Election Commission issued a new guideline for EVM ballot paper. The Election Commission then said that the new guidelines will start from Bihar elections. For the first time in EVMs, colorful photos of candidates will be seen.
The serial number will also be more clear now. ECI had said that this initiative has been taken to improve election processes and increase the convenience of voters. The ECI had amended the existing guidelines under Rule 49B of the Election Operation Rules, 1961.
