Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended Guru Darshan and Sant Samagam Mela organized at Bhandarpuri Dham under Arang Tehsil of Raipur district. On this occasion, he performed Bhoomi Pujan of 16 development works costing more than Rs 162 crore, including new road construction, widening and strengthening works.

Chief Minister Sai announced the construction of dome at the fair site, installing street lights on Telasi-Bhandarpuri Marg and upgrading Kutesar Primary School in Secondary School. He said that if five young young pilots want to become a pilot from the society, then the government will bear their entire expenses and they will be made a pilot.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai first saw Guru Gaddi and took blessings for the prosperity of the people of the state. He said in his address that by following the ideals of Baba Guru Ghasidas, we have to build the developed Chhattisgarh. His ideals lies a learning of humanity and equality. Guru Baba gave a message to the society to unite, as a result of which Satnami society is moving towards progress and harmony today.

The Chief Minister said that it is my good fortune that last year also I got an opportunity to attend this fair as Chief Minister. But there has been a big difference in this year and last year. When I came here last year, the guru of your society was Khushwant Saheb MLA, now he has become a minister. He has got a lot of responsibility for the development of Scheduled Castes and Tribes and connecting youth with skill training with employment. We have immense expectations from the pride of your society.

The Chief Minister said that every region of the state is developing rapidly. We are fulfilling all the promises made by the country’s famous Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the three crore people of Chhattisgarh as ‘Modi’s guarantee’. So far, more than nine thousand government recruitments have been fulfilled and recently the recruitment process of five thousand posts in the Education Department has started.

He said that good governance and convergence department has been formed with the aim of ensuring transparency in every work of the government. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to do so. Our government is determined for corruption -free governance. The Chief Minister said that no matter how big a person who is corruption, he will not be spared.

The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of Dr. Raman Singh, an authority was formed for the development of Scheduled Caste society. The present government has increased its budget from 50 crores to 75 crores.

Dharmaguru Guru Baldas Saheb said that this fair is a symbol of social harmony and solidarity. He thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for making the Guru Khushwant Saheb of the society Khushwant Saheb a cabinet minister and said that not only the Satnami society but the entire state is on the path of development today.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Jaitkham, higher than Qutub Minar, is in Girodpuri in Chhattisgarh. This is not the achievement of a person but the result of the inspiration of Guru Baba Ghasidas. He said that the resolution of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai to uplift the poor and pursue the state is coming true. Schemes are being made in the interests of farmers, women, youth and laborers.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that today there has been Bhoomi Pujan of 16 development works costing more than Rs 162 crore, which is a historic step towards development of Arang Assembly. He said that many saints and mahatma are born in the lap of Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the government is moving forward with the resolve of ‘We have created, we are the only one’. More than 700 tenders have been issued for the development of the roads of the state and after the rain, the roads of the state will be seen in a new form.

Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said that this fair is held every year in memory of Guru Balakdas Saheb, son of Guru Ghasidas Baba, to be Gaddinshin. It is a symbol of the ideals of Satnam religion. On this day, Guru Balakdas ji accepted the throne and made the holy land of Bhandarpuri his work place.

On this occasion Rajaguru, Dharmaguru Guru Baldas Saheb, Baba Guru Daladas Saheb, Guru Maqsoodan Saheb, Guru Somesh Baba, Guru Saush Saheb, MP Kamlesh Jangde, CSIDC President Rajiv Agarwal, Speaker of Apex Bank Kedar Gupta, District Panchayat Raipur President Naveen Aggarwal, former Assembly Speaker, Gaurishankar Agarwal, Maoni Saints of the society and a large number of dignitaries were present including Sen, Amit Chimanani, Shyam Narang, Naveen Markandeya.
