Many children have died due to phlegm syrup in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, most of them are under 5 years of age. State CM Mohan Yadav expressed grief over the death of the children. They have banned the sale of this syrup in Madhya Pradesh. He has also banned the sale of other products of this company.
Actually, many children had become ill due to phlegm syrup in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, out of which 12 children have died. Most of the children who lose their lives are from Madhya Pradesh. The government sent the phlegm syrup that ills the children for investigation.
CM expressed grief over the death of children
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav shared a post on social media, in which he wrote that the death of children due to Coldrif syrup in Chhindwara is very sad. He said that the sale of this syrup has been banned throughout Madhya Pradesh. The sale of other products of the company making syrup is also being banned.
Further, the CM wrote that the syrup making factory is in Kanchipuram, so after the incident came to the notice, the state government had asked the Tamil Nadu government to investigate. The investigation report was received this morning. Based on the report, strict action has been taken. He said that after the sad death of the children, action was going on at the local level. At the state level too, a team has been formed to investigate this matter. The culprits will not be spared at any cost.

Such medicines ban in the state
Vishwas Sarang Singh, a minister in the state government, gave a statement about action on Cold Reef Kapha Syrup. He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the cold reef syrup has been banned in the state. Action has been taken immediately after investigation. The minister said that any type of medicines which show adverse effects on the patient will not be allowed to sell in MP. He said that instructions have been given to strict action against the culprits in this case.
