In the capital, criminals committed a major incident and looted about 86 kg of silver jewelery from the bullion merchant. The incident is from Sadar Bazar area of City Kotwali police station area. The miscreants held the businessman hostage at gunpoint, tied his hands and feet and smelled a suspicious object to faint. After this, he escaped from the jewelery shop and looted a large amount of silver.
According to the police, the victim businessman’s name is Rahul Goyal and his shop is operated in the name of Shiva Traders Jewelers. It is being told that at around 4 am, unknown crooks reached the shop and opened the gate on the strength of the weapon. After this, the businessman was unconscious and carried out the robbery.
Police is searching CCTV footage
On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. CCTV footage installed in the surrounding areas is being searched, so that the accused can be identified. The police have registered a case against unknown miscreants and claimed soon.
