Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on his two -day visit to Chhattisgarh. Today he has reached Jagdalpur to attend the program of Bastar Dussehra. The beginning of the Bastar tour, Union Home Minister Shah visited the mother Danteshwari temple and offered prayers and then communicated with the local people. After this, he met traditional representatives Manjhi, Chalki and Gaata in the Mooria court. Now he has reached the Swadeshi Mela held at Lalbagh Maidan, where he is addressing the gathering.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah transferred more than Rs 606 crore from the stage to the women of the state by pressing the button as the 20th installment of the ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana’. He said that this scheme is a revolutionary step towards empowering the mother power of Chhattisgarh.
New bus scheme starts, 250 villages will be connected to headquarters
On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the Chief Minister’s Rural Bus Service Scheme, under which 250 villages will be connected to the headquarters. He said that this will make traffic in rural areas easier and will speed up the pace of development.
Visiting Maa Danteshwari temple
Union Home Minister Shah earlier performed darshan and worship at the mother Danteshwari temple. During this, he communicated an intimate communication with the common people present in the temple premises. Amit Shah interacted directly to the public and gave a message that now “there is no fear in Bastar, there is faith.” In his address, he connected this belief to the deadline of 31 March 2026, as long as the target is to completely abolish Naxalism from the country.
Devotees welcomed by singing ‘Munda Baja’ in Mai Danteshwari temple
On reaching the temple, the devotees welcomed the Home Minister by singing the traditional devotional tune of Bastar ‘Munda Baja’. Shah duly worshiped Maa Danteshwari and expressed respect for the folk traditions of Bastar. He then met and addressed traditional representatives like Manjhi, Chalki and Gaita in the Muriya Darbar.
